AIESEC in Bangladesh is the national chapter of AIESEC — a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run entirely by young people.
From one committee to a national movement
AIESEC was founded globally in 1948 to build peace through youth leadership and cross-cultural exchange. AIESEC in Bangladesh joined the global network in 1997, opening exchange opportunities to Bangladeshi students for the first time.
Nearly three decades on, the organization has grown into three independently-run Local Committees based across Dhaka, sending students abroad on Volunteer, Talent, and Teacher exchanges — and bringing global talent into Bangladeshi organizations in return.
